German defence-tech startup INLEAP Photonics has raised about €20 million in a seed funding round. UVC Partners led the round with participation from HTGF once more. The new investors include BalnordVC, Sentris, and Scale Capital. INLEAP Photonics focuses on eye-safe laser systems designed to counter drones. The systems are for use in civilian and military settings. The company plans to use the funding to scale its technology.
