Hugging Face and Unsloth AI Are Hosting an Open Source AI Party in San Francisco

Hugging Face and Unsloth AI are co-hosting “Open Together: AI Builders Unite,” a free San Francisco event scheduled for Friday, October 16, at The Midway. The Luma event page describes it as the opening night of Open Source AI Week and a kickoff party centered on open models and open source AI. The schedule lists a 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. meetup with community demos, light bites and drinks, followed by a dance party with DJs from 9 p.m. to midnight. In a post on X, Unsloth AI’s Daniel Han said attendees can also expect Unsloth merch and a look at upcoming features.
