Unreleased Claude models including Fable 5 and Opus 4.8 briefly appear in chatbot selection menu

@levelsio funny how the safety pitch ends with the safest models being the ones nobody can run. Building on top of these things now means pricing in a 5pm friday email that turns your stack off. Wild times to ship

@levelsio Eventually we'll end up having tons of choice with the same power as Fable 5, just a matter of time as open source models are just getting good enough for daily usage.

At this rate, by the end of the year open source models will be there.

@levelsio they killed it bc the US gov ordered a suspension on both anthropic’s mythos 5 and fable 5, but i think they’re attempting to restore it somehow
