A political philosopher would say that. As an economic sociologist who studies organizational design, clearly multi-agent alignment is an organizational design problem with strong components of economic sociology (I really think many academic disciplines have a lot to add here)

@sethlazar Oh, it's also psychology and ethology and ecology. And it's culture. Oh and it's religion. And it's probably moral philosophy and even ontology when you get down to it. There's a lot going on

haha yes indeed. I should say, I'm also hopefully going to be doing a whole project on multi-agent alignment with an evolutionary psychologist, a cognitive scientist, and a computer scientist.
