Town investment reportedly grew from a Plaid connection and a partner's recommendation

An investor says he ran into former Plaid colleague Jean-Denis after the 2024 SF Marathon, when they discussed a small-business tax tool. His partner Justine later tried productivity agents, judged Town the best and got Ben using it. He says he then reconnected with Jean-Denis and suggested dinner with Ben. He credits Justine as essential to the investment and says Ben probably helped too.
