@Noahpinion I was planning to be an AI researcher but the vagaries of life and being a little early for deep neural nets meant it wouldn’t happen. So having them arrive (pretty much on time) and with affordable access is a dream come true
@Noahpinion the best thing is that AI is not alien, this is pure spirit of humanity as a whole, archive of our cultural and scientific output given voice and agency, well aligned it will carry into the future what is best in us
