Theo Asks Meta If Muse Code Will Be Open Sourced
Reply follows announcement of Muse Code exiting beta with new SDK features.
Mark Zuckerberg posted that Muse Code exited beta and now handles larger engineering tasks via one curl command. Theo Browne replied asking if Meta plans to open source the tool. Rohan Paul quoted the exchange and described the new SDK as supporting building agents on sessions, tools, permissions and persistent state, plus parallel multi-subagent workflows, inter-session messaging and a rewind feature to restore earlier project states after errors.
Muse Code is out of beta and now built to handle bigger, more complex engineering tasks. Developers can get started with one command today: curl -fsSL https://dev.meta.ai/install.sh | bash
