@garrytan always

@garrytan I know what you mean and I know why you think so, but with a well-run AI model you can no longer distinguish who is leading this direction.

@garrytan /add-skill wabi-sabi --imperfection=11/10

@garrytan No em dashes.
But here's the thing....

@garrytan wabi sabi >

@garrytan Someone replied to one of my tweets today pointing out a grammar error in it, felt kinda proud honestly rather than embarrassed.
Still writing all my tweets myself.

@garrytan clean prose is the new uncanny valley. we went from "write perfectly" to "why is this so perfect" in about 18 months

@garrytan Great insight—humans are great!

@garrytan wabi sabi is exactly the word.
The tell is not typos. It’s the small asymmetry of attention: one sentence too specific, one thought not fully closed, one weird object the writer cared about for no obvious reason.

@garrytan But you can tell ai to write like a human and include that wabi sabi and you wouldn’t know.

@garrytan Wabi-sabi = linguistic jazz :))
@garrytan This is going in my guest post newsletter guidelines
You can still tell human writing because it's got that wabi sabi

@garrytan artisanally hand written post-mortem

@garrytan No more are we saying that human writing is human because it has mistakes in it.

@garrytan Hey Claude make my text more wabi sabi

@garrytan It’s still easier to spot AI writing…

@garrytan What if we train it with human way of writing ?

@garrytan Human writing has more typos, but also more feeling! AI writes too perfectly.

@garrytan my favorite humble sushi spot

@garrytan enough data points and the next anthropic model will abstract and learn the ways of the Wabi Sabi
