So much this. There was so much routine build/release stuff in software engineering that was a drag - not really because it was hard or even tedious, but because the tool details always changed slowly over time so you had to remember/relearn so much meaninglessly precise syntax to make sure what you thought was happening was really happening. Having AI remember it all but also do the “oh wait no there’s a glitch, let me figure out what stupid detail I missed” is a huge QOL win.
It's called “command-line bullshittery” and yes, AI takes care of it for you and it's great (term coined by Philip Guo in a blog post that is no longer online nor in the @waybackmachine)
