iPhone 18 Pro hits stores as Apple CEO John Ternus opens Fifth Avenue launch

Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max went on sale worldwide Friday, drawing launch-day crowds at Apple Fifth Avenue and stores across India. New CEO John Ternus opened the Fifth Avenue location and greeted its first customers, his first retail launch since taking the top job on September 1. Apple says the Pro models start at $1,199 and $1,299 in the US. The launch does not include the foldable iPhone Duo, which is scheduled to arrive in October.
