Cerebras $CBRS just announced a multiyear deal with OpenAI
CEREBRAS $CBRS JUST ANNOUNCED A MULTI-YEAR DEAL WITH OPENAI VALUED AT OVER $20 BILLION
The agreement covers 750 megawatts of compute, per the company's SEC filing.
And it's not the only thing the chipmaker locked in this week:
Cerebras also completed an agreement with AWS this week and will begin preparing deployments in Amazon's data centers, with the CEO saying the financial impact shows up in 2027.
On the call, the CEO said OpenAI's GPT-5.4 is now running on Cerebras, with GPT-5.5 coming as part of the next rollout phase. The company is also in early talks for data centers in Israel, the UAE, Australia, Singapore, India and Indonesia.
