@pitdesi What's the trade off? There has to be one.
@pitdesi The comparisons to MRIs are a little misguided given ultrasounds are less powerful/different, but this is a big step forward and more testing/sensing is a huge boon and will help a lotta people.
@pitdesi I mean this is the use case. A Prenuvo, Neko, etc competitor. This is a DTC product.
But it really does not solve a clinical imaging problem. And seems like to get 50000 scanners out there it would need to be in rather broad clinical use.
@pitdesi That would be fantastic if they can make MRI's cheaper and more accessible for medical purposes - they'd have to get through FDA approval of course if they want to go that route v. "longevity" route.

@pitdesi @factsbegone No radiation in MRI. The quality of the pictures are horrible - comparable to an MRI of 1970's
@pitdesi It can’t see through bone and air so won’t replace an MRI/CT for many applications
But it is still very very cool and we should definitely be doing a 100x more imaging with ultrasound. Will be useful for lots of soft tissue imaging
