@JonBryant421 @wongmjane @robotaxi They're toast without LIDAR. Their insistence on vision-only is a sad joke. The cost of LIDAR has cratered. Waymo, which is years ahead of Tesla, concluded that vision-only was good but not good enough i.e. party tricks category.

@elonmusk SFO isn’t worth the expense.
Tesla Robotaxi is able to drop off right at the SFO terminals unlike Waymo which requires designated pickup/drop-off spots I wonder if that’d change when Tesla rolls out the driverless Cybercab
