Blacksmith announces $66 million Series C at $1 billion valuation

TechCrunch reports Blacksmith announced a $66 million Series C led by Sequoia, valuing the company at $1 billion. The startup helps companies build and test software, including AI-written code. Its previous $45 million Series B valued it at $550 million two months earlier. Blacksmith says its annual recurring revenue has grown 17-fold and it has run more than 90 million automated code checks.
