OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra Draws Creative Demos and San Francisco Celebration

Sam Altman posted that OpenAI will host a GPT-6 community night in San Francisco on September 16 to discuss the model and meet users. Several builders posted videos of their experiments. One created a sonar app that uses audio and the Doppler effect to scroll a Mac screen with hand gestures. Another fed nine photos of a studio into the model and received an interactive 3D version of the space. A third built an app that responds to knocks on a Mac trackpad. An independent benchmark site showed GPT-6 Astra leading its scientific discovery leaderboard.
