Fairphone’s Fairbuds 2 reportedly get October 14 reveal date, €119 starting price

Fairphone’s next repairable wireless earbuds, the Fairbuds 2, are reportedly scheduled for a full reveal on October 14, 2026, based on details Fairphone shared with The Verge and later cited by Android Authority. Fairphone says the new model will retain seven fully replaceable, modular parts from the original repair-focused design while adding support for Sony’s LDAC codec. The original Fairbuds supported SBC and AAC. Fairphone also says the Fairbuds 2 will launch in Europe first for €119, with a US release to follow at $119. The first-generation Fairbuds debuted in 2024 at €149 and have since dropped to $99.99 in the US.
