Apple Music’s Android Beta Gets a Liquid Glass-Inspired Redesign

Apple Music for Android is getting a Liquid Glass-inspired redesign in its 7.0 beta, according to 9to5Google. The reported changes include a floating bottom navigation bar with light translucency, a mini-player that is no longer docked to that bar, updated top bars, redesigned artist pages, Library overflow changes, and a modernized Settings page. 9to5Google says the Android version does not copy every iOS behavior, noting the bar does not collapse while scrolling. The report adds that there are no major Now Playing changes, though the app now uses edge-to-edge status and navigation bars. Apple Music 7.0 is currently in beta, with testing typically lasting a few weeks.
