Xiaomi readies August 2026 security update, @timexiaomi reports

@timexiaomi says the planned rollout includes HyperOS 3.0 and 2.0 devices, spanning the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Redmi Pad 2 and Poco lineups.

On September 6, 2026, @timexiaomi reported that Xiaomi was preparing its August 2026 security update. It said Global, EEA, India, Taiwan, Indonesia, Russia, Turkey and China builds were ready for a rollout covering HyperOS 3.0 and 2.0 devices. Patch details, it said, would be disclosed after Google's bulletin release.
