Google Photos may add a one-tap way to clear Ask Photos’ Remember List

Android Authority reports that a teardown of Google Photos for Android v7.95 surfaced a work-in-progress “Delete all” button for Ask Photos’ Remember List. The outlet says the feature would erase every saved Remember List entry at once, instead of requiring users to remove entries individually as they do now. Android Authority also reports that Google appears likely to show a confirmation prompt before clearing the list. Ask Photos’ Remember List stores information users share with Google Photos to improve searches and edits, but Android Authority notes it is still unclear whether deleting the list would also mean Google no longer retains that underlying personal data. As an APK teardown finding, the feature may never ship publicly.
