TLDR
Meta plans to sell its VR Glasses for $1,299.99 in spring 2027, pitching them for 3D movies, gaming and virtual workspaces. The company says they feature micro-OLED displays, eye and hand controls, and more than 75 games playable solely with hand gestures at launch.
UploadVR reports they support Quest 3 content, but controllers aren't included by default; owners can buy Touch Plus controllers separately or pair existing Quest 3 or Quest 3S controllers. It also notes a narrower horizontal field of view: 70 degrees, versus roughly 110 degrees on Quest 3.
Early impressions highlight both the appeal and the remaining questions: CNET praised comfort and movie viewing during its hands-on session, while Business Insider questioned the glasses' usefulness beyond watching films.
