Ethereum’s proposed 100,000-gas public validation floor is too small for a Groth16 verifier tested at 190,628 gas in a new privacy benchmark, CryptoSlate reports. Some nodes could accept heavier proofs locally, the publisher says, but that would not guarantee those proofs propagate across the network.
