At least two National Design Studio members reportedly on loan from a nonprofit tied to SpaceXAI’s top lawyer

WIRED reports that at least two National Design Studio members are employed by the America by Design Foundation and were detailed to the Office of Personnel Management. Documents reviewed by WIRED list James Burnham, SpaceXAI’s general counsel and a former DOGE member, as the foundation’s managing director. The studio is tasked with redesigning government websites and services, but WIRED says it is unclear who funds the foundation.
