Inc42 reports that Mitti Labs has signed a four-year agreement to supply Google with 1 million carbon credits between 2027 and 2030. The publisher says Mitti Labs works with farmers to adopt alternate wetting and drying, a water-efficient irrigation practice that can also reduce methane emissions from rice cultivation. According to Inc42, the startup’s AI-powered platform combines satellite data, remote sensing, biogeochemical models and ground measurements to track emissions and water savings.
