Waymo's Madrid robotaxi plans and Tesla's reported fleet growth in Texas

Waymo's electric cars were expected on roads in Madrid, Alcobendas and Getafe within days of Telemadrid's October 24, 2026, report, a step toward driverless taxi service in Spain in 2027. A user claimed Tesla added 613 robotaxis in Texas since September 1, versus 471 for Waymo. Another user said they booked a Waymo home after working until 1 a.m. in San Francisco and didn't worry about getting home alone.
