Disruptive closes $10 billion fund for AI and defense startups

Bloomberg reports that Disruptive has raised a $10 billion fund to back AI, defense and software startups. The Dallas-based firm plans to back 10 later-stage companies with $1 billion each. Bloomberg says the fund effectively doubles Disruptive’s assets under management and shifts it from deal-by-deal fundraising to a single fund it can manage at its discretion.
