I tried explaining what AI is to my 5.5-year old recently when I realized it doesn’t matter. He has no clue what life was like using a phone or computer where you couldn’t just get the exact answer you needed right away. Now his immediate reaction when he wants to understand something new he just discovered is to say “let’s ask Chat(GPT)!” I’m so excited for my kids to grow up with this technology being native to their experience. And maybe soon, Siri will catch up. (Although he does know how to tell Siri what song to play next)
@akothari “talkies” died as a word the moment every movie had sound. “ai startup” has maybe 3 years left
@akothari I agree with this too It’ll all just be Siri 😎
I'll take the other side of this. AI becomes so commonplace that the label disappears.
