This isn't too surprising as an alum, as I feel like in both the academic and alumni communities this is a pretty actively discussed topic. AI is by far the most active topic in the Harvard Alumni in Tech community, and faculty like Professor David Malan have been sharing thoughtful observations in this area for a long time now. Still, exciting to see Dean Deming voice such a thoughtful perspective. Thanks for sharing!
@jamescham I'm a huge fan of @ProfDavidDeming -- We literally had dinner last night in Cambridge and talked about AI and the future of work. His research is awesome, so I'm glad he's still finding time for it even while he's deaning.
@jamescham free wisdom from Harvard, 173 views. guy screaming into a ring light about AI replacing you in 30 days, 2M 💀
@jamescham 173 views on the Harvard dean explaining AI's future but the "AI will steal your job in 30 days" guy has 2M impressions 😭
@jamescham hidden gems like this deserve more attention, thanks for the pointer
