iThinkDifferent reports that Apple revised its Photographic Styles compatibility wording after initially listing 11 iPhone models, including the iPhone 16 and 17 lines and iPhone Air. The revised wording limits texture and grain controls to photos captured on iPhone 18 Pro models or the iPhone Duo’s Ultra Wide, Main and Center Stage cameras. But Macworld reports that Apple indicated a key distinction: older supported iPhones will have access to the same editing tools for photos taken on those newer devices, not for their own photos.
