As I have advocated for many years, Information Theory should serve as the theoretical foundation for the study of Intelligence. But the community as a whole had willingly missed this biggest opportunity and many people in that community were very dismissive of the practice of (artificial) intelligence in the past decade and failed to see and acknowledge the obvious and fundamental scientific connection. What a pity!
As I have advocated for many years, Information Theory, as a community, had willingly missed its biggest opportunity as it should serve as the theoretical foundation for the study of Intelligence. But main people in that community were very dismissive of the practice of intelligence and failed to see the obvious scientific connection. Many still do now. What a pity!
