Atomic lands $12.5 million Series A as its supply chain software spreads to DoorDash and HelloFresh

Atomic has raised a $12.5 million Series A led by Klass Capital and Madrona Venture Group, with total funding now just over $15 million, TechCrunch reports. The Boston startup sells supply chain software that simulates scenarios to decide how much inventory a company should hold and where it should go, then recommends or can automatically make responses. TechCrunch reports the product is being used by customers including DoorDash and HelloFresh. Jon McNeill, founder of DVx Ventures, where Atomic was incubated, told TechCrunch that the company’s annual recurring revenue has quintupled since the start of this year. Atomic has also added former Tesla planning director Jeff Goodrich as CTO and third co-founder.
