Three and a half years after release, Switch hit Splatoon 3 gets meta-shaking big update

Splatoon 3 is receiving a significant update on January 29, introducing a new gameplay mechanic called Flow Aura. This update also includes changes to the Stealth Jump ability and the addition of health bars above damaged players. These changes aim to promote more aggressive play styles and reduce camping and cheap strategies. The update comes as the game approaches its fourth anniversary and as development on a Switch 2 version and a spinoff, Splatoon Raiders, continues.
