Is Spotify shuffle actually... shuffling now?

Is it just me, or does Spotify’s new ‘fewer repeats’ shuffle actually work? I feel like the randomness has finally improved since they added the toggle, but I can’t tell if it’s a placebo. What are you guys seeing on your end?
