Arizona and athletic director Desiree Reed-Francois reportedly agree to new deal through 2032

Pete Thamel reports that Arizona and athletic director Desiree Reed-Francois agreed to a five-year contract through 2032, adding nearly 2.5 years to her deal. He says the board approved it on October 1 and her salary will rise to $1.4 million in 2027-28. He also credits her with helping the department recover from a deficit of nearly $39 million she inherited in 2024; it now operates a balanced budget.
