SEC presses ahead with LSU lawsuit over football players who signed NFL preseason contracts

Front Office Sports reports the SEC is continuing its lawsuit against LSU despite the school not rostering two football players who signed NFL preseason contracts. The conference argues LSU still appears to be pursuing former pros for its men’s basketball team and wants the court to affirm its power to sanction member schools. Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill says LSU broke no rules and the case is moot.
