Elif Nur Turhan is scheduled to defend her IBF lightweight title against Alycia Baumgardner on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026, at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. Promoter Most Valuable Promotions lists the fight as the MVPW07 headliner.
Both fighters weighed below the 135-pound lightweight limit. Baumgardner came in at 133.8 pounds and Turhan at 134.6, figures announced at the promoterβs weigh-in and also reported by World Boxing News.
Baumgardner, the unified super-featherweight champion, is moving up a division in pursuit of a second weight-class world title. World Boxing News described that objective in its pre-fight post, and the promoterβs introduction outlined the same stakes.
βI'm stepping up to the lightweight division. I'm challenging a world champion,β Baumgardner said at the pre-fight press conference.
The promoter advertised the main event as a 135-pound championship fight scheduled for 10 three-minute rounds.
For viewers, ESPN advertises an 8:30 p.m. ET main-card start on Nov. 8. The promoterβs announced schedule gives the equivalent local time of 7:30 p.m. Central, with the main card live on ESPN. ESPNβs announcement gives no ring-walk time for Turhan and Baumgardner.
