Kimi Antonelli can seal 2026 F1 title with ninth place in Mexico City

After winning the United States Grand Prix, Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli led teammate George Russell by 123 points and Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton by 124, Sky Sports reported Oct. 26. At the Nov. 1 Mexico City Grand Prix, a ninth-place finish or better would clinch the 2026 Formula 1 drivers' title for him. He could also seal it if neither rival wins, becoming F1's youngest world champion at 20.
