CAS orders Russia's national teams readmitted to international hockey events

The Athletic reports CAS ordered the International Ice Hockey Federation to let Russian teams play in its events after a ban imposed following Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine. TSN Sports says the ruling covers 2026-27 events, including the men’s World Championship in Germany, the World Juniors, and women’s and under-18 tournaments. TSN Sports says CAS claimed it found insufficient evidence for the IIHF’s security concerns.
