Valtteri Bottas taken for medical checks after crash red-flags 2026 Mexican Grand Prix

An apparent left-front suspension failure sent Bottas’s Cadillac spinning backward into the Turn 1 barriers on lap 45 of the 2026 Mexican Grand Prix. An initial safety car was followed by a red flag for barrier repairs. Bottas climbed out unaided and walked away, then was taken to the medical center for precautionary assessments.
