Fernando Alonso stops on track, triggering red flag in Mexico GP qualifying

Alonso was close to the pit entry when Aston Martin insisted he stop, bringing out a red flag in Q1. An account described him as frustrated and gesturing in the cockpit after he parked. The same observer thought Alonso had looked quick enough for at least Q2, and possibly Q3 at times, earlier in the weekend.
