Gotham FC beats Orlando 2-1, takes a three-point NWSL Shield lead into Decision Day

Equalizer Soccer reports Gotham FC's 2-1 win over Orlando put it on 58 points, three ahead of San Diego with one match left. Midge Purce and Tierna Davidson scored for Gotham; San Diego drew 2-2 with Boston. A win or draw against Utah Royals on Decision Day would secure the Shield. If Gotham loses, a San Diego win over Bay FC could leave the Shield to league tiebreakers.
