He went 0-for-2 on field goals, including a 48-yard potential winner that Greg Rousseau blocked with 4:11 remaining in overtime. The Sporting News reported that Mevis had made five of nine field-goal attempts this season.

Buffalo turned the block into the winning drive. Tyler Bass made a 45-yard field goal with 1:55 left in overtime.
