TLDR

RapSheet reports Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase won appeals of two $14,926 fines for his “people’s elbow” celebration against the Texans. An appeals office letter RapSheet quoted says Chase argued that, even if he violated a rule, his fine should be reduced because he had received no warning. Chase also said the new celebration with his teammate was not offensive and that the NFL assumed the worst of them without discussing it with the NFLPA.
