NFL reportedly fines Azeez Al-Shaair $11,492 for ‘Hind Rajab’ eye black message

TMJ News Network reports that Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair was fined $11,492 after writing “Hind Rajab” on his eye black during a 36–31 loss to Buffalo. The outlet describes Rajab as a 5-year-old Palestinian girl killed alongside relatives in Gaza City on January 29, 2024. It also reports that Al-Shaair previously received an $11,593 fine for wearing “STOP THE GENOCIDE” during a January playoff game against Pittsburgh and has said he intends to keep drawing attention to Palestinian suffering.
