Panthers reportedly fire Ejiro Evero and Jonathan Cooley; Todd Wash set for interim role

jjones9 reports that the Carolina Panthers fired defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and defensive pass game coordinator Jonathan Cooley, with Todd Wash to serve as interim defensive coordinator. MySportsUpdate separately reported Evero’s dismissal, citing @JFowlerESPN, and said he had held the job since 2023. Zach_Kaplan5 noted a recent loss to Green Bay but did not identify it as the reason for the moves.
