Slow pit stop costs Chase Briscoe the race lead

Briscoe’s No. 19 team lost the lead with a slow stop, dropping him behind his teammates. A later race update put Larson sixth, worth five stage points. If he stayed there, the update projected he would need only a 33rd-place finish with no more stage points to become champion.
