BYU’s LJ Martin reportedly out four to six weeks with lower-body injury

Pete Thamel, citing sources, reports that No. 8 BYU running back LJ Martin will miss four to six weeks with a lower-body injury suffered against TCU, including the October 17 home game against No. 3 Notre Dame. Thamel says Martin, the 2025 Big 12 offensive player of the year, leads BYU with 344 rushing yards. Freshman Journee Tonga is expected to get more carries.
