Jackson's fifth goal in five Premier League games came after Fulham failed to deal with a long ball.
Villa led Fulham 1-0 at halftime after a long ball created a two-on-one and Jackson cut inside to score. A match observer said Fulham's passive setup helped Villa control the half, though defensive lapses on turnovers led to two interventions by Suzuki.

@J_TanswellFive goals in five PL games for Nicolas Jackson. There's a reason why he was the most transferred in player this week in FPL history. Timely goal - things had gone flat, Villa were in a lull and Fulham who, have been every bit as passive, don't deal with a simple long ball forward. Then it's a 2v1 and Jackson cuts in and finishes calmly. "Jackson again, ole, ole" sings Villa Park. 1-0 #AVFC
