No. 17 Florida expected to start Aaron Philo at QB against No. 3 Georgia on Saturday

On October 30, Pete Thamel reported that Florida would start Aaron Philo at quarterback against No. 3 Georgia that weekend. He said Philo and Tramell Jones Jr. had both taken first-team practice reps; Philo, who had a shoulder injury, last played against South Carolina on October 10. Yahoo Sports, citing Thamel on the expected start, said the No. 17 Gators would face Georgia on Saturday. It put Philo’s season totals at 1,341 passing yards and 12 total touchdowns.
