Philip Rivers Reportedly Emerges as Top Target for NC State Football Coaching Job

NC State fired Dave Doeren on October 24 and is reportedly focusing on Rivers as his replacement. The former Wolfpack quarterback now coaches St. Michael Catholic High School in Alabama and has no college coaching experience. He's expected to finish the 2026 high school season, and there's no immediate timetable for a hire.
