Mike Evans reportedly out for rest of 49ers-Commanders game with Achilles issue

San Francisco 49ers receiver Mike Evans left the team's Oct. 19 home game against the Washington Commanders before halftime. Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport later reported that he was out for the rest of the game with an Achilles issue.

TSN Sports reported that Evans left the field in apparent pain after making a catch. Yahoo Sports said he went to the locker room after appearing uncomfortable following a second-quarter catch.

The 49ers initially listed Evans as questionable to return, identifying his Achilles in the injury update. The later reports changed his game status to out, but the updates give no diagnosis or timetable for his return.
